Chrome Bookmarks Integrate with Google Search

Until recently, Google Bookmarks and Chrome Bookmarks were two separate features that didn't speak the same language. Even if you could save your Chrome bookmarks to a Google account, they weren't saved to Google Bookmarks. For some reason, your bookmarks are available in a special Google Docs folder.

Chrome bookmarks have a web interface, but it's likely that the obvious will happen: Chrome bookmarks could be saved to Google Bookmarks. Jérôme Flipo noticed that the Google Bookmarks OneBox already includes Chrome bookmarks. I've tried to find SmallNetBuilder.com and Google's OneBox returned it even if it was starred in Chrome, not in Google Bookmarks.

  1. This is the main reason I don't use Chrome. If it is true that is great. I'm not sure from the article if it has happened yet though?

  3. I wish this were true. Maybe it's slowly rolling out? Or maybe it's a limited test? This is not working for me at the moment, but I've been waiting for something like this for a really long time. So, if it IS true, I can wait a bit longer with much anticipation.

  4. Does not work with me. But is seem like a obvious clean up to Google software and back end. Running the two separately did not makes much sense anyway.

  5. My chrome bookmarks no longer appear in Google Docs. It looks like there is now no way of accessing chrome bookmarks online (they don't appear in google.com/bookmarks either).

  6. I want the same internet experience from whichever computer I use (Not necessarily my own computer.)
So Google Bookmarks is great on my Google/ig page.

I don't want to synchronise my Chrome Bookmarks onto other people's computers.

More support for Google Bookmarks please.

  7. I see the same thing, but only some of my bookmarks appear to be starred in the results. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which ones show and why however.

  10. Google Bookmarks ( https://www.google.com/bookmarks/ ) and Chrome's bookmarks don't match yet ... And... By the past searching on Google also searched in our google bookmarks... It was Powerful!!... Why this feature disappeared?... I'm so sad...

  11. By the past (maybe 2 years before), searching on internet with google also research in google bookmarks ( https://www.google.com/bookmarks/ )... But, this powerful feature is no more aviable. I'm sad... And... Chrome bookmarks isn't yet the google bookmark... So... Actually, Google Bookmarks is "alone", without any link with chrome nor the search engine...
